Greek Sandwich (Dining Hall)

Greek sandwich: spinach, tomatoes, red onions, feta cheese, olives, reg. mayo.

Since finals week will be here in no time, I’ve decided to make this post along with the next two posts recipes that can be made in 5 minutes or less. I tried to reduce the amount of ingredients used in each recipe while still keeping unique flavors that work well together.

With only 5 main ingredients that don’t require any cooking, this greek sandwich is an easy option to make for lunch or dinner when you don’t have much time.


1/3 cup spinach, washed and drained

2 slices of red tomato

A few slices of red onion

1 tbsp crumbled feta cheese

2 slices of whole wheat bread

1 tsp regular mayonnaise or butter

Few slices of olives (optional)

1. Spread the mayonnaise on both slices of bread. Place the spinach, tomatoes, red onion, and feta cheese on one slice of bread. Place the olives on top, then close the sandwich with the other slice of bread.

2. Spray a panini maker with non-stick spray. Place the sandwich inside, and grill for about a minute or until the bread is golden-brown.
