Apple Pumpkin-Seed Salad: A Finals Week Post (Dining Hall)

IMG_5962

Once again with only 5 main ingredients, this salad doesn’t take much time to make if you want to leave more time for studying. It also has a full serving of fruit, so you can cross that off your check-list for the day!

Ingredients:

1 cup spinach

1 Granny Smith Apple, sliced

1 tsp pumpkin seeds

1 tbsp sunflower seeds

1 tsp of honey

Slice the apple into about 8 slices. Combine all ingredients and add the honey at the end. Mix all the ingredients together after adding the honey, and enjoy! I decided to keep this salad simple so it’s something quick I can eat at the dining hall. With this salad, you have one serving of fruit and some greens. The honey is optional, but it balances out the tartness of the green apples.
